This engagement ring features a 0.40 carat center diamond surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds. The halo setting visually amplifies the main stone — an effect sought after by those who want a strong presence without necessarily a very high carat weight.
The round brilliant cut center diamond has VS clarity (very high purity, inclusions invisible to the naked eye) and I color — a white with a very slightly warm, almost imperceptible hue. The surrounding diamonds add 0.35 carats for a total of 0.75 carats, in SI/FG color. Periodic cleaning at the store maintains the brilliance of the stones.
